Summer Games Fest 2023 is nearly here. Geoff Knightley’s premier summer gaming event takes place on Thursday; this year, it could have some special significance. With E3 cancelled, gaming companies looking to show off their latest projects may instead head to the Summer Game Fest, which hopefully means we’ll see some big news from the show.
You can watch Summer Game Fest 2023 on a variety of platforms, including:
- YouTube: The Summer Game Fest showcase will be live-streamed on YouTube. You can watch it on the official Summer Game Fest channel or any other medium hosting the stream.
- Twitch: The Summer Game Fest showcase will also be live-streamed on Twitch. You can watch it on the official Summer Game Fest channel or any other medium hosting the stream.
- Twitter: The Summer Game Fest showcase will be live-streamed on Twitter. You can watch it on the official Summer Game Fest account or on any other account that is hosting the stream.
- Facebook: The Summer Game Fest showcase will also be live-streamed on Facebook. You can watch it on the official Summer Game Fest page or any other page hosting the stream.

The Summer Game Fest showcase will start on Thursday, June 8, at Noon PT / 3 pm ET. It is expected to last for about two hours.
In addition to the Summer Game Fest showcase, there will also be several other publishers’ showcases taking place during the Summer Game Fest season. These showcases will feature new trailers, gameplay footage, and release dates for upcoming games.
The following is a list of publisher showcases that have been confirmed for the Summer Game Fest season:
- Ubisoft Forward: Mark your calendars for the Ubisoft showcase on June 10 at 11 am PT / 2 pm ET.
- Square Enix Presents: Square Enix will host its showcase on June 13 at 6 pm PT / 9 pm ET.
- Devolver Digital Showcase: Devolver Digital will host its showcase on June 14 at 3 pm PT / 6 pm ET.
- Gearbox Publishing Showcase: Gearbox Publishing will host its showcase on June 15 at 10 am PT / 1 pm ET.
- Capcom Showcase: Capcom will host its showcase on June 16 at 1 pm PT / 4 pm ET.
These are just a few publishers’ showcases confirmed for the Summer Game Fest season. There are likely to be more announcements in the coming weeks.
Here are some of the publisher showcases that you can expect to see during the Summer Game Fest season:
- Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase: This showcase will feature games from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda Softworks, and other partners. It will be streamed on Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Ubisoft Forward: This showcase will feature games from Ubisoft. It will be streamed on Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook.
- Square Enix Presents: This showcase will feature games from Square Enix. It will be streamed on Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook.

- Starfield: Bethesda released a new trailer for its upcoming space RPG, which is now scheduled to release on November 11, 2023.
- The upcoming game is titled “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2.” Nintendo released a new trailer for the sequel to its acclaimed open-world adventure game, which is now scheduled to release on March 2024.
- Hogwarts Legacy: Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released a new trailer for its upcoming Harry Potter RPG, which is now scheduled to release on September 10, 2023.
- Marvel’s Midnight Suns: Firaxis Games released a new trailer for its upcoming tactical RPG, which is now scheduled to release on October 7, 2023.
- God of War Ragnarök: Sony Santa Monica released a new trailer for the sequel to its 2018 action-adventure game, which is now scheduled to release on November 9, 2023.
