A TV list would not be a TV list without Samsung in among the midst and although this is for TVs specifically under $1000, you might be surprised to learn that right now you can not only pick up a decent Samsung TV for under $1000, but can only pick up a Samsung 4K TV for that money. This is the Samsung UN48JU6500 and comes equipped a 48-Inch 4K Ultra HD display. Not to mention this is a Smart TV too and comes equipped with Samsung’s Smart View 2.0 for sharing between devices. The VIZIO M55-C2 is a 4K Ultra HD TV which comes equipped with a 55-inch display. Again, this is Smart enabled and also offers five HDMI ports as well as one USB port. another great option for the money.
TCL LE40FHDE3010 40-Inch TV
This is actually one of the only TV sets on this list that is last year’s model. That is not because the other manufacturer 2014 models are any worse but more to do with their updated 2015 versions being much more affordable. That said, should be taking away from the TCL LE40FHDE3010. This is a solid performing TV and especially for the price. However, you’re sacrificing a little here. Firstly, the size compared to some of the others as this one also comes with a 40-inch screen, although, it is a Full HD display. Secondly, this one does not come Smart enabled. However, you do get three HDMI ports, 1 MHL port and one USB port.
LG Electronics 55LF6300 55-inch TV
So far this list has not included any LG TVs although, that is about to be rectified. Up next is the LG 55LF6300 and this is a 55-inch sized display which comes with a Full HD resolution. Not to mention, this is Smart enabled TV and comes with LG’s own WebOS on-board. There is also a decent number of ports including three HDMI ports, 3 USB ports, an RF port, a Component port, a Composite port and an Optical Audio Out. Currently, a really good and affordable LG TV.
Samsung UN50J6300 55-Inch TV
From one South Korean TV manufacturer to another and this is the second Samsung TV to make the list today. The Samsung UN50J6300 is a little bigger than the last one noted and comes sporting a 50-inch screen. However, unlike the last option, this one is not 4K and instead comes equipped with a Full HD resolution. However, this is a Smart TV and again also makes use of Samsung’s Smart View 2.0 for connecting other devices. Not to mention, there is a Quad-Core processor powering everything here so will be a snappy TV in terms of response. This one is also not light on connections, offering four HDMI sockets and three USB sockets.
LG Electronics 60LF6100 60-Inch TV
LG might have joined the list late here but they are catching up quick as this is the second LG TV worth checking out for under $1000. This is the LG 60LF6100 and comes with a 60-Inch display along with a Full HD resolution. Making this the biggest of the two LG TVs on offer for $1000.
