Sony is likely to release its PlayStation Plus subscription authority monthly free-to-play PlayStation Plus games, Sony PS Plus, and premiums in April 2023. Usually, Sony adds the upcoming PS Plus extras and premium games in the middle and then the following week.
Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus games for April 2023. The following games will be available to download for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members starting on Tuesday, April 18:
- Bassmaster Fishing
- Doom Eternal
- Kena: Bridge of Spirits
- Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom
- Paradise Killer
- Riders Republic
- Sackboy: A Big Adventure
- Slay the Spire
- The Evil Within
- Wolfenstein: The Old Blood
- Wolfenstein 2: New Colossus is another new PS Plus add-on game that may raise some eyebrows. Sackboy: A Big Adventure. Sackboy: A Big Adventure may be redundant in the PS Plus Extra games lineup since it is part of the free PS Plus games for April 2023. If they’ve signed up for the Extra or Premium tiers of PS Plus, anyone who opts out can still play it with their subscription, regardless of whether they claim it as a free game.
In addition to these games, Sony has also announced that it will remove the following matches from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog on May 15:

- Resident Evil
- Resident Evil
- NBA 2K Playgrounds 2

PS Plus Premium subscribers will be able to play all the PS Plus Additional games added in April 2023, but they can also look forward to five more games. PS4 versions of Doom, Doom 2, Doom 64, Doom 3, and Dishonored: Definitive Edition are coming to PS Plus Premium on April 18. These are more Bethesda-published games, but oddly enough, the new PS Plus Premium additions for April 2023 are all native PS4 titles, as opposed to PS1, PS2, PSP, or PS3 games, which is the main reason for signing up for the service’s premium tier.
