When news broke that the Galaxy S22 and S22+ were not launching until mid-March, people were not happy. However, people are reporting that they are receiving their Galaxy S22 pre-orders early, according to TechRadar. People on Reddit are sounding off about this news.
Some people are getting their Galaxy S22 pre-orders early
If you recall, The Galaxy S22 Ultra was not supposed to start shipping until February 25th. That wasn’t as bad as the shipping day for the Galaxy S22 and S22+, which was projected to be March 11th. However, a slew of people on Reddit are sounding off saying that they’ve actually received their pre-ordered Galaxy S22 devices early.
At the time of writing this article, one Reddit user says that they’ve had their Galaxy S22 Ultra for three days. If any phone should come early, we’d expect it to be the Galaxy S22 Ultra, however, one user reports that their Galaxy S22+ will be coming in the mail between February 14th and February 15th.
This should tell us some good news about Samsung’s supply chain situation. The company originally delayed these phones’ launch because of issues with acquiring chips for them. We’re still in the midst of this global chip shortage. If Samsung is able to deliver its Galaxy S22 phones early, then hopefully, the chip shortage may be letting up just a bit.
Pre-order your Galaxy S22 today
If you’re looking to buy a Galaxy S22, you can still pre-order one today. You can also pre-order a Galaxy Tab S8 if you want to. Head over to the Samsung Galaxy pre-order page and choose which device you want.
The first price that you see will not be the full price of the Galaxy phone you get. For instance, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will show up as $499.99; that’s only the price you get if you have an eligible phone to trade-in.
If you have a phone to trade in, then don’t worry about it. If you don’t have a phone to trade in, scroll down to the trade in section, and click. “no phone trade-in.” After that, the price will soar up to $1,199.99.
Select the carrier that you will be buying this phone from or if you want it unlocked. Under that, you’ll choose the storage capacity. Right now, Samsung is offering the 256GB variant for the price of the 128GB variant.
Under that, choose the color and choose if you want to add a Samsung Care+ coverage plan. After that, you can go ahead and pre-order your Galaxy device.
Since these Galaxy S22 phones are coming in early, you can probably expect your phone to come in early also. However, there’s no guarantee of that.
