The LG G7 ThinQ is the newest smartphone on the market currently (though not for long). And as is the case with many of LG’s past devices, it does support Qi Wireless Charging. So you can put your brand new LG G7 ThinQ down on a charging pad and have it begin charging without having to worry about wires and such. However, LG still has not embraced fast wireless charging. Apple is doing fast wireless charging at 7.5W, while Samsung is doing it at 10W. LG and every other manufacturer out there is sticking with 5W for wireless charging right now. This is likely due to how hot these chargers and phones get already with wireless charging. But it is unfortunate here. We’ve rounded up the top 10 best wireless chargers currently available, and the majority of these do support fast wireless charging for Apple and Samsung devices as well.
One of our favorites from the list below is the Anker PowerWave Pad. This is a newer wireless charger from Anker, which actually looks really good. It’s a white charging pad that can do the 7.5W fast charging for the newer iPhones, but it does still work with 5W for every other device out there. It’s a pretty clean charging pad here, that doesn’t take up a lot of space. But Anker has sweetened the deal here. There is a Quick Charge 3.0 wall charger included in the box with the PowerWave Pad here, so you can also use this charger to charge up your LG G7 ThinQ faster, with a USB-C cable, instead of using the wireless charging route.
There are plenty of other great wireless chargers on the list below. All of these are certified, so they won’t make your new LG G7 ThinQ explode or overheat. Which is definitely important after buying a brand new smartphone. If you have just picked up the LG G7 ThinQ, you’ll want to check out our top 10 accessories, cases and screen protectors as well.
